Here at Old Oaks, we're privileged to be located right in the heart of the glorious Somerset countryside which means we're surrounded by a myriad of footpaths and breathtaking scenery - perfect for those who love to walk.
We've put together 2 new walking folders (located in our Tourist Information room), for you to peruse at your leisure plus we've got loads of laminated copies of all our walks which you can borrow free of charge (or you can buy your own copy if desired).
Right on your doorstep
We've tried, tested and documented a whole bunch of walking routes for you, all of which start right from The Old Oaks campsite, so no need to get in a car. The following walks (in pdf format) can be viewed, downloaded and printed from your computer. So you can print them all off and bring them on your next visit (or borrow ours).
| Walk 1a | Walk 1b | Walk 2 | Walk 3 | Walk 4 | Walk 5 | Walk 6 |
Walking with your dog
We're a dog friendly touring park, so we know many of you'll want to get out and about with your furry friends. However, some of our walks will take you through fields which may have cattle or sheep, so please be aware of this and keep your pets under control.
A little further afield
We've also put together a second folder of other walks a little further afield (not all tried and tested). Here's what we've got so far:
