Minibus Service & day trips for guests staying at The Old Oaks
It is with great regret that we are no longer able to offer the minbus service, due to lack of use. The service provider had to withdraw earlier this year
as it the service was running at a loss. We are truly sorry :(
Here at our touring park, on the outskirts of Glastonbury, we're really fortunate to be located in a gorgeous rural spot, away from any main roads, traffic and noise, but that does mean we're not on a bus route. Not such great news for motorhomers, backpackers or anyone wanting to get out and about without the use of a car.
So we've teamed up with Glastonbury taxi firm AJ Taxis to provide an 8 seater minibus service for our guests. Our drivers are friendly, reliable and flexible.
There'll be trips into the bohemian and vibrant town of Glastonbury, the historic city of Wells, with it's bustling market and amazing cathedral and a weekly trip to shoppers paradise, Clark's factory outlet shopping village. There's also a Friday and Saturday night trip into Glastonbury to sample the local eateries and pubs. Plus we'll organise trips to local events when demand arises.
Pre-booking in 2016 not required. Just turn up and pay the driver.
